The UL PETE team competed with 103 teams from around the world. The team passed the hurdles of Calgary (1st in Regional), Colorado School of Mines (2nd in Regional, 3 times Petrobowl champs) and then Oklahoma University (4th in Regional, 3 times Petrobowl champs) and made it to the final 4 with the University of Texas, TU Delft University (Netherlands, Europe) and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Mexico). Last time, the team was ranked 6th in the 2014 ATCE Petrobowl held in Amsterdam, Holland. By placing 4th, the team pre-qualified to the 2016 Dubai ATCE. Here come the Ragin' Cajun, Dubai!
