On December 15th, five UL petroleum engineering students have successfully completed the intense 3-day BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) course at UL Lafayette's Marine Survival Training Center.  BOSIET includes HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training), safety equipment, sea survival, first aid, firefighting, rescue in smoke filled areas, etc. BOSIET is recognized worldwide and is valid for 4 years.
