Our Petroleum Engineering students volunteered at the Annual Gulf Coast Oilman’s Golf Tournament, held March 19–21, 2026, at the Coushatta Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, the same venue that hosts the annual AADE golf tournament.

We sincerely thank Brandon Gallet and the team at Patriot Steel for inviting and hosting our students throughout this three-day event. Patriot Steel generously covered all expenses, including hotel accommodations and meals, as part of their commitment to supporting future petroleum engineers.

This premier, invitation-only tournament brought together over 180 industry professionals, giving our students an excellent opportunity to network, engage with industry leaders, and gain insight into real-world operations. Patriot Steel, a leading supplier of tubing and casing for drilling and completion activities, continues to be a valued supporter of student professional development.

Many thanks to Brandon and Patriot Steel for their hospitality and for helping our students connect their classroom experience with industry practice.
