We are proud to share that our Petroleum Engineering students recently attended the 2026 IADC Health, Safety, Environment & Training (HSE&T) Conference and Exhibition in Houston, Texas. This premier event brought together industry leaders and educators to exchange ideas and advance best practices in the upstream energy sector.

The conference, held February 18–19, 2026, focused on achieving optimal human and organizational HSE&T performance, a theme deeply reflected in our program’s curriculum and teaching philosophy.

All expenses for our student attendees were generously covered by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). Their ongoing support of our student chapter highlights the industry’s confidence in the next generation of petroleum engineers—our students.

A heartfelt thank you to IADC for this invaluable opportunity and for their commitment to developing future energy professionals.
