UL Lafayette Petroleum Engineering students visited Big E Drilling Rig 4 on Friday, January 26th.  Drilling ahead at over 16,500’ directional for gas to 24,500’.  They saw all operations – RSS (rotary steerable system), MWD/LWD, MPD, mud testing, mud coolers, well control components, etc.  They toured all around the rig, even on the rig floor while drilling.  Many thanks to LLOX for this opportunity.
