UL Lafayette Petroleum Engineering went once again on a facility tour on Friday November 8th. This time at Drilling Tools International in Broussard, LA. Students were able to see and touch Stabilizers, reamers, hole openers, spiral drill collars, API connection machining, NDT QA/QC evaluation, etc. A thorough examination of drilling BHA’s after a recent facility tour of downhole drilling motors and MWD/LWD at Baker Hughes.
